Father

It starts all
before it begins
and most likely for this one
it started before
you were born
before I was born
let's say
grand grand time ago

You see
a poem is like a pear
in your hand it starts
from the flower
out of its stem
trunk and root
and then the earth
where we all
e v e n t u a l l y
rest in peace

My son
so when you take a fruit
there appreciate a poem
