亞洲小說向國際進軍有了新的管道，一項由曼氏投資公司贊助的「曼氏亞洲文學獎」（Man Asian Literary Prize）開始徵稿，對象為未以英文出版的亞洲小說，希望藉此提高亞洲地區作者尋求全球認同的機會。參賽者須提交翻譯為英文的作品，字數三萬字以上，明年十月將評選出五位入圍者，11月1日宣布得主，得主可獲一萬美元，首獎翻譯者亦可另獲三千美元獎金；獲獎作品將由香港Chameleon Press出版。即日起開始徵稿，明（2007）年3月31日截止，詳情查詢及投稿網站：www.manasianliteraryprize.org。
This major new literary prize to recognise the work of Asian writers and to bring them to the attention of the world literary community was initiated through the joint efforts of Man Group plc and the Hong Kong International Literary Festival Ltd.
Called the Man Asian Literary Prize, the award seeks entries from Asian writers for works that are yet to be published in English. Entries will be submitted in English, and the prize is intended to provide a broader platform for the cream of new Asian literature to be brought to the attention of English-reading audiences around the world.
